Robin M. Green has forty-five years of trial experience and is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He began as an Assistant District Attorney in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas. He practiced in Amarillo for sixteen years before joining the firm of McWhorter Cobb & Johnson in Lubbock. He left that firm in 1991 to form his own law firm and joined Atkinson, Hall & Green in 2003. On January 1, 2008, he joined Richards, Elder & Green, PLLC.
Mr. Green's experience encompasses broad areas of law practice including lawsuits in all of the categories listed on the Litigation / Civil Trial page of this website. As an Assistant District Attorney, and later as a criminal defense lawyer, he tried criminal cases. He represented the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in its banking enforcement litigation. For several years, he was an active Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee and litigated extensively in Bankruptcy Courts on behalf of trustees, creditor committees, creditors, and debtors. He argued cases before state and federal appellate courts. He ligitated divorce cases involving both child custody and property disputes and tried arbitration cases. A brief overview of Mr. Green's practice can be seen by pleadings and briefs from a few of his cases: a complaint in a bid-rigging case; a brief in a First Amendment case; a motion from an oil-field dispute; a brief from an unusual appeal; an answer in a patent case; and a 1976 opinion from a U. S. District Court opinion in a civil rights case.
